• Contact Data: Name, email, phone number, mailing address, and organization details.
• Donation Data: Amount donated, preferred cause, and transaction reference IDs.
• Payment Data: Limited card/bank details routed through Razorpay’s secure infrastructure. We do not store full card or UPI details on our servers.
• Technical Data: IP address, device/browser information, pages visited, and referral sources gathered via analytics tools.

2. How We Use Information

• Process donations, issue receipts, and generate 80G/CSR compliance reports.
• Respond to enquiries, volunteer applications, and program participation requests.
• Send impact updates, campaign announcements, or statutory communications (opt-out any time).
• Improve website experience, monitor fraud, and fulfil legal or regulatory obligations.

3. Razorpay Payment Processing

We partner with Razorpay Software Private Limited to process online donations securely. Razorpay collects payment instrument details (cards, net banking, UPI, wallets) over an encrypted connection and complies with PCI-DSS standards. Razorpay may share limited data with banks, card networks, or law-enforcement agencies to complete or validate a transaction. 4. Data Retention & Security

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for statutory record keeping (typically 8 years for donations) or until consent is withdrawn, whichever is later. We implement industry-standard safeguards including SSL encryption, access controls, and periodic audits to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or trade personal data. Information may be shared with:

• Authorized staff, auditors, or consultants on a need-to-know basis under confidentiality agreements.
• Regulatory authorities, law enforcement, or courts when legally required.
• Service providers (Razorpay, email/SMS vendors, cloud hosting partners) who process data under strict contractual safeguards.

8. Refunds & Chargebacks

Donation refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds are initiated via Razorpay to the original payment method within 7-10 working days. In case of chargebacks, we may share transaction evidence with Razorpay/card networks for resolution.
